By accessing or using Spectr ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.
Spectr is an AI-powered construction compliance platform that helps teams check submittals against project specifications. The Platform provides document management, AI-driven compliance analysis, and report generation services.
To use the Platform, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You retain full ownership of all data, documents, specifications, submittals, and other content you upload to the Platform ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content, you grant Spectr a limited license to process, analyze, and store it solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.
We will never sell, share, or use Your Content for any purpose other than operating the Platform on your behalf. You may delete Your Content and your account at any time.
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
The Platform uses artificial intelligence to analyze specifications and submittals for compliance. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated compliance reports and findings are provided as decision-support tools and should not be considered a substitute for professional engineering judgment. You are responsible for independently verifying all compliance determinations before relying on them.
We strive to maintain high availability of the Platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.
Certain features of the Platform may require a paid subscription. Payment terms, pricing, and billing cycles will be communicated at the time of purchase. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spectr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI-generated compliance analysis will be error-free or complete.
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the Platform settings. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately, and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy .
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through a notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Spectr operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
